Bad mounting configuration

I elected to return them…it would have been too easy for them to create a bracket that goes around/over instead of large self tapping sheet metal screws. I have the compact diesel 72” true commercial unit….so maybe some of the other models have threaded points for mounting…but I wasn’t about to drill large holes into the frame that supports the front wheels to waken of create a future rust point. I mounted large LED fixtures on the 2”x3” ROPS instead…and a hitch bracket that goes around the 2” hitch instead.

Badboy LED light kit

Very nice kit. It looks like a factory installed setup when installed. Nice prewired harness. Very happy with this kit.

Cheap hardware

Let me start by saying that the price and customer service from Sherwood Tractor was excellent, the problem is with the kit. This is an OEM kit but the self tapping screws that they send with it will not drill through the frame on my Bad Boy Maverick, not even with a pilot hole drilled first. I tried both ways. Also, the switch that comes with is had leds that are always on even when the switch is off, causing your battery to drain. I modified the wiring on the switch so the leds on it no longer worked. I could have bought a univeral light kit and it would have been just as good or probably better. But if you insist on getting this OEM kit this is the place to get it from.
